Goodyear Ballpark fetes 15 years

Goodyear Ballpark will celebrate its 15th anniversary with a series of giveaways and special events throughout Spring Training.

The first 1,500 fans entering the gates for games between the home teams, Cleveland Guardians and Cincinnati Reds, will receive giveaways with the 15th anniversary logo. Fans will receive a camouflage trucker cap on Feb. 24 (opening day), a drawstring bag on March 10, a festive St. Patrick’s Day pint glass on March 17 and a cooling towel on March 24.

Since its inception, Goodyear Ballpark has hosted Ohio’s two MLB teams. The Guardians made it their home in 2009, followed by the Reds in 2010.
