The Pinal County Board of Supervisors has voted to drop the property tax rate for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
The supervisors unanimously approved the measure during their July 3 meeting.
Although the tax rate itself is dropping, an increase in the valuation of homes means residents will be paying more.
For the new fiscal year, the county’s primary property tax rate will drop to $3.45 from $3.56 per $100 of assessed home valuation.
