Via City of Chandler
By Chandler Arizonan
A national developer of multifamily projects last month paid just over $10 million for nearly 7.7 acres near downtown Chandler that will be home to a 252-unit apartment complex.
The Garrett Companies, which has offices in several midwestern states and Colorado, bought the land near the northeast corner of Arizona Avenue and Elliot Road from Meyer Development & Construction Services, Valley real estate tracker vizzda.com.
Garrett already has city approval to build Uptown Commons, which staff said “will serve as an integral component of this mixed-use area as it will inject residents who may become customers or employees of existing shopping centers and business parks.”
