The site of a new luxury hotel and apartments in Old Town Scottsdale will soon be more than just a big hole in the ground.
State of play: The pending completion of work on an underground parking garage between Indian School Road and Third Avenue, just west of Scottsdale Road, heralded the start of construction on the AC Hotel by Marriott Scottsdale, Utah-based developer PEG announced earlier this month.
- The hotel is expected to open in spring 2026.
Zoom in: The AC Hotel will include 168 rooms, along with a lounge, kitchen, rooftop pool and bar, and 4,000 square feet of retail space on the ground floor.
- PEG boasts that the hotel “is poised to bring a modern European-inspired hospitality offering to the area.”
- The adjacent Kimsey building, also known as the Triangle, will be preserved and is expected to house a leasing lobby, fitness room and residential units, the developer wrote on X in 2021.
- The project also includes a 169-apartment building, which will share the underground parking garage with the hotel.
