Phoenix Rising renegotiates stadium lease

The city of Phoenix and Phoenix Rising FC, the Valley’s minor league soccer franchise, are looking to amend the lease agreement that has the team’s stadium on city-owned land near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

Phoenix City Council will vote Oct. 16 on whether to amend the lease, which would extend the primary lease term as well as increase the maximum rent credit for eligible improvements.
