Industrial office projects break ground in the Valley

By Real Estate Daily News

Tempe, Arizona– (Oct. 16, 2024) – September was a busy month for Tempe-based Sun State Builders (SSB). The leading design-build general contractor broke ground on two new industrial office projects – one in Glendale and one in Phoenix. The company also constructed a new warehouse office space at the Deer Valley Technology Park in North Phoenix.

Construction is underway in Glendale on a ground-up build for WorkBay, a company that provides flexible workspace for small businesses. It is a complex of five separate buildings totaling 80,082 square feet located at 7915 N Harbor Blvd. near Northern and 99th Avenues. The buildings will be divided into smaller spaces that will be offered for lease for industrial, warehouse, or business use. Construction is targeted for completion in September 2025.

Cohen Asset Management, a private real estate investment firm headquartered in Los Angeles, contracted Sun State Builders to construct its 33,450-square-foot office suite and warehouse project just west of Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. The Cohen Sky Harbor Building is a ground-up tilt panel construction targeted for completion in July 2025. Once complete, it will include a spec office suite and air-conditioned warehouse that will be available for lease.
