Estrella holds groundbreaking ceremony for new neighborhoods

 Estrella will host a groundbreaking ceremony for new neighborhoods in its Montecito village on Thursday, Jan. 30, in Goodyear. The event will feature local dignitaries and a “Touch-A-Truck” experience, allowing children to interact with construction equipment used for the development.

The ceremony will mark the addition of 508 new homesites in Montecito, developed by Lennar and Richmond American Homes. The event will begin at 3 p.m. with speeches, followed by the “Touch-A-Truck” portion from 3:45 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event will take place at West Mountain Drive and 184th Street in Goodyear.

Admission is free, and children will receive giveaways, including toy trucks and “kid-sized” hard hats and vests. Free treats, including “dirt cupcakes,” will also be available.
