Battery maker picks Valley for HQ

Global industrial battery manufacturer Eternity Technologies Inc. plans to make Phoenix its North America headquarters, investing $20 million in a new facility in Deer Valley.

The plant will produce batteries for industrial traction applications used to run forklifts, power-jacks and other similar equipment. The facility will also produce reserve power products for renewable energy storage, battery backup systems, hybrid systems, solar streetlights and emergency lighting.
