SUPERIOR — When Mila Besich thinks about her community, she sees what she describes as an “older startup.”
Nestled against the backdrop of Apache Leap and Picketpost Mountain, Superior is among Pinal’s oldest communities, and to this day it retains much of its historic charm.
But don’t let the town’s appearance or its lengthy history fool you into thinking that the community’s days of thriving are over.
