Costco buys more Valley land

Costco Wholesale Corp. has scooped up over $35 million worth of property around the Valley so far this year for several new ventures beyond building more of its traditional wholesale stores.

On July 31, Costco (Nasdaq: COST) closed on 18.65 acres in Chandler for $15,677,280 with plans for a new Costco Business Center store location, according to Tempe-based real estate database Vizzda.
