Workforce housing builder starting construction on Mesa project

Greenlight Communities, an attainable workforce housing developer, will break ground on its newest rental project in Mesa this week.

Construction on Cabana Mesa Drive, located near Mesa and University drives, will kick off Thursday, with a formal groundbreaking at 9 a.m.

“Breaking ground on Cabana Mesa Drive represents another important step in Greenlight’s mission to deliver attainable housing across the Valley,” Greenlight Communities Co-Founder and Senior Partner Patricia Watts said in a press release. “This site connects residents to the heart of Mesa’s downtown, giving them access to transit, jobs and amenities while keeping rental rates within reach.”
