Opposition grows against Cibola Vista project in north Peoria

The community surrounding Cibola Vista has been coming out in opposition to the resort’s proposal to build a 302-unit multifamily complex on 17 acres near Lake Pleasant Parkway and Pinnacle Vista Drive.

Cibola Vista Resort & Spa says the new project offers a high quality multifamily community with ample open space in an area where higher intensity is appropriate, “while thoughtfully tapering down to lower-scale residential.”

The owner also says the project diversifies housing options in the area with the growth of Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company and the construction of Amkor Technology, which are planned to bring in thousands of new job opportunities.
