North Carolina woman suing former Arizona Senator Kyrsten Sinema over alleged affair

A North Carolina woman is suing former Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema.

She is alleging that the politician was engaged in an affair that caused the end of her marriage, according to a complaint filed in court.

The woman is Heather Ammel, and, according to court documents, she alleges that Sinema had an affair with her husband, Matthew Ammel and encouraged him to leave his wife. He served as a security guard for Sinema while she was in office, court docs revealed.

Documents from the alienation of affection lawsuit revealed details about the alleged indiscretion. In North Carolina, jilted spouses are allowed to sue someone for interfering in their marriage.
