Cost of Arizona flooding damage exceeds $100 million, congressman says

Arizona’s elected officials are hoping the Trump administration will reconsider its denial of disaster relief after determining that the cost of flood damage sustained last September is much higher than initially estimated. 

Last month, state officials were notified that the Federal Emergency Management Agency had denied Arizona’s request for assistance in addressing $33 million in damages caused by flooding events in Gila and Mohave counties.
