Powell announces run for Pinal supervisor

Former Eloy mayor, businessman and current member of the Casa Grande Union High School District board Micah Powell has announced his 2028 Republican candidacy for Pinal County supervisor in District 3.

Current District 3 Supervisor Steve Miller told PinalCentral he will not be running for a fifth term in 2028.

“I’ve told everybody I’m not running another term for county supervisor,” Miller said, adding that while he will be stepping down from the Board of Supervisors in 2028, he intends to run again for the Central Arizona Project board, which he currently serves on.
