A backyard pastime will reach its biggest stage yet when Big League Wiffle Ball’s World Series Weekend hits Scottsdale March 22 – 24. The top eight teams in the league earned spots at earlier events in Las Vegas, Chicago and other major cities, with the final two advancing to Scottsdale’s Salt River Fields to face off at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 24, after the Detroit Tigers vs. Colorado Rockies game closes out the Cactus League’s Spring Training season.
World Series Weekend kicks off from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Sunday, March 22 at Miracle League Arizona (11130 E Cholla St., Scottsdale), with each six-player team seeking a spot in Tuesday’s championship. Players may return from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday, March 23 for the All-Star Game and Home Run Derby, also at Miracle League Arizona. Tickets are $10 per event, with organizers donating a portion of the proceeds raised to the Miracle League to support its mission and programming.
“These players have worked all season to get here,” said Big League Wiffle Ball Founder Logan Rose, 19, who plays for the Dallas Pandas and recently earned a spot in Forbes’ “30 Under 30” 2026 class. “We started with a simple idea – create a real league that athletes could take seriously – and the level of talent we’re seeing this season proves our players have earned their spot on a big stage. These are literally the best wiffle ball players in the world.”
