Lucid Motors announced its intent to produce new, more affordable models of vehicles at its investor day in New York on March 12.
The company introduced two new mid-sized electric SUVs named Lucid Earth and Lucid Cosmos. The vehicles represent the company’s shift toward a more accessible range, targeting a broader customer base with starting prices under $50,000.
The company announced an expanding lineup aimed at making electric vehicles more accessible without compromising on technological advancements. The new models will provide consumers an alternative to existing SUVs in the market produced by Tesla and Rivian, the company said.
