It is once again time for Arizona’s gubernatorial hopefuls to show everyone the money, and Gov. Katie Hobbs is reporting more than $2 million raised in the first quarter of 2026.
That brings the governor’s total fundraising to about $17 million for the 2026 election, according to her campaign. Campaign finance reports are due to the Secretary of State’s Office by Wednesday and Hobbs’ full report was not available at the time of publication.
Hobbs’ campaign says the roughly $2 million haul “more than doubles” the election-year record for first quarter fundraising set in 2022 and marks the governor’s largest single-quarter yield of the 2026 cycle. The campaign is referring to a record set by failed Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake, who pulled in $968,013 in the first quarter of 2022.
“Arizonans are stepping up in record numbers because they’ve seen Katie Hobbs deliver on the issues that matter most, from securing the border to erasing medical debt,” said Nicole DeMont, Hobbs’ campaign manager, in a statement. “By breaking yet another fundraising record, Katie Hobbs is uniting Democrats, Republicans and Independents around her vision of putting Arizona first.”
