Havasu Heights could soon see the first phase of a housing project that may eventually bring nearly 1,000 homes to the desert north of Lake Havasu City.
The Mohave County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to vote next week on a 22-acre plat for 42 homes. The subdivision would be part of a larger 379-acre plan for up to 928 homes about six miles north of Lake Havasu City.
The DL Ranch project is led by local developers including Dustin Runyon, Delbert Campbell Jr. and Andrew Oxley, of Lake Havasu City-based real estate company APX West.
