Help Us Stuff the Bus – For Our Students!

As another school year approaches, many families across San Tan Valley are facing challenges that make purchasing basic school supplies difficult. This year, our schools have shared a growing need for community support, and together, we can help ensure every student starts the school year prepared and ready to succeed.

Through our Stuff the Bus – For Our Students campaign, powered by For Our Community San Tan Valley, we are collecting school supplies for students throughout our community in partnership with Florence Unified School District and alongside the important efforts taking place within J.O. Combs Unified School District. Both districts have identified significant needs, and every donation will help make a difference for local students.

Community members can support this effort by donating backpacks, notebooks, pencils, crayons, markers, glue sticks, folders, water bottles, tissues, and other essential classroom supplies. Donations may be dropped off at the District 2 Offices or Town of San Tan Valley Offices located at 31505 N. Schnepf Road in San Tan Valley, or purchased directly through our Amazon Wish List.

We also invite you to join us for our special For Our Community Networking Lunch on Tuesday, June 16, where local leaders, nonprofits, schools, faith organizations, businesses, and residents will come together to discuss how we can better support students and families in the coming school year. Attendees are encouraged to bring school supply donations to help kick off the campaign. You can register for this event HERE.

Then, on Saturday, June 27, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., look for our Stuff the Bus collection event at Walmart. We’ll have an actual school bus on-site and invite the community to help us fill it with supplies for local students. Whether you donate one notebook or a cart full of supplies, your generosity will directly impact children right here in San Tan Valley.

The success of our community has always been rooted in neighbors helping neighbors. Together, let’s make sure every student has the tools they need to learn, grow, and thrive.

Thank you for supporting our schools, our teachers, and most importantly, our students.

Get to Know the Candidates Seeking to Represent Our Community

As San Tan Valley prepares for its first Town Council election, we encourage residents to take advantage of opportunities to meet the individuals running for local office.

Whether you attend the Community Meet & Greet on June 15 or the Candidate Forum on June 24, these events provide a valuable chance to hear directly from the candidates, learn about their priorities, ask questions, and make an informed decision before casting your vote. The future of our community starts with an engaged and informed electorate.

Your voice. Your vote. Your future.

Celebrate San Tan Valley’s Historic First Day as a Town!

Join the Town of San Tan Valley on Wednesday, July 1, from 7:00–9:00 PM at Poston Butte High School for a special Community Festival celebrating Independence Day, America’s 250th Anniversary, and San Tan Valley’s Operational Independence Day.

This free, family-friendly event will feature local vendors, food trucks, community organizations, and a spectacular drone show finale as we come together to celebrate this exciting new chapter for our community.

Whether you’re a longtime resident or new to San Tan Valley, this is a wonderful opportunity to connect with neighbors, support local businesses, and be part of a historic moment.

Interested in participating as a vendor or food truck? Limited opportunities may still be available through the Town of San Tan Valley.

We hope to see you there as we celebrate our community and our future together!

We want to ensure our constituents have the information they need.
