On June 8, Eloy Police Chief Sergio Banales gave an update on the department during the City Council meeting. The department is actively seeking to fill vacant positions with three dispatchers and three police officers.
The department announced the launch of an enhanced victim notification system on April 22 powered by VINE and Versaterm CommunityConnect. It’s a new way to help keep residents supported and informed including real-time updates to victims from the moment a 911 call is made through the investigative process, judicial proceedings and incarceration along with release and parole.
