The names of the 14 people who will serve on a new local water users committee have been released.
Committee members are: Dennis Bagnall, a farmer; Brian Hartman, a farmer; Micah Powell, an Eloy City Council member; Steve Miller, chairman of the Pinal County Board of Supervisors; Tom Scott, businessman; Jim Garrett, businessman; Jim Boyle, dairy farmer; Richie Kennedy, feed yard representative; Scott Riggins, Pinal Groundwater Users Advisory Council member; Grant Ward, irrigation and electrical district consultant; Michele Van Quathem, a home building representative; and Ed Hadley, a developer.
It was announced earlier this month that Tiffany Shedd, a farmer and representative of the agricultural advocacy group Farmers Against State Takings (FAST), and Casa Grande City Councilman Dick Powell were also appointed to the committee.
A 15th member to represent the Gila River Indian Community has yet to be named.
