Journalists review Corporation Commission ruling on APS solar [VIDEO]

Screen Shot 2013-11-19 at 7.12.24 PMThe Arizona Corporation Commission last week voted to add a fee for those using rooftop solar panels. The new fee is 70 cents per kilowatt hour, which will add about $5 a month for a typical rooftop solar user.

The fee was much less than sought by Arizona Public Service, which is seeking to reduce the subsidy given to solar power users by about half. Three journalists who covered the much publicized issue, discuss the commission’s decision on KAET’s “Horizon.”
