Yuma County developer drops rezoning request

One item missing from Monday’s agenda for the Yuma County Board of Supervisors is a rezoning request from Hidden Summit LLC.

Last month, to the chagrin of many neighbors, the developer had requested the rezoning of a 13.6-acre parcel located on the northeast corner of Camino Del Sol and Calle Ventana from Low Density Residential-8,000 square feet minimum (R-1-8) to Medium Density Residential (R-2).

Neighbors in the Mesa Del Sol subdivision turned out in numbers to protest the development.
