Top 10 issues affecting U.S. real estate

Energy, jobs, and the far-reaching influence of the Millennial generation are the issues that will have the most significant impact on real estate both near-and long-term, according to The Counselors of Real Estate® organization, which today released its official 2014 Top Ten Issues Affecting Real Estate, a list it compiles annually.

The announcement was made by Hugh F. Kelly, Ph.D., CRE, 2014 chair of The Counselors of Real Estate, the invitation-only professional association for expert real estate advisors, during the opening address at the National Association of Real Estate Editors annual conference in Houston.  Dr. Kelly is clinical professor of real estate at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate.
