Crown Realty & Development has closed on the purchase of Ocotillo Springs a 272-unit apartment community in Chandler, Arizona for $33.4 million. Ocotillo Springs is located at 825 West Queen Creek Road near the intersection of South Alma School Road and West Queen Creek Road, near the Loop 202. The community will undergo extensive renovations that include enhancements to its amenity spaces and apartment homes. The purchase represents the company’s tenth multifamily acquisition in the Phoenix area since 2010. Crown has been active in the valley for years and is currently looking for a luxury hotel brand for a portion of the Mountain Shadows Resort which they are also developing. We recently reported on Crown’s sale of approximately 12 acres of the Mountain Shadows project to Cullum Homes.
