Billboard plan back before Glendale officials

A Phoenix company is bringing back a plan to erect a pair of billboards in a commercial neighborhood in north Glendale that drew opposition from residents in the general vicinity over fear of lowering property values.

Becker Boards is scheduled to present its latest plan to residents during a neighborhood meeting Wednesday, March 18, at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Arrowhead Elementary School 7490 W. Union Hills Drive.

Becker has altered a proposal turned down March 24, 2014, by City Council to seek a pair of billboards with faces that could be digital. Its most recent application was for two static boards only.
