Frank Lloyd Wright house owners look to preservationists, architecture crowd in Phoenix fight

(Editor’s Note: Rose Law Group represents Peter Sperling in supporting the Arcadia Community in their fight to preserve their long standing residential character)

Some preservationists, architecture enthusiasts and even some Arcadia neighbors are supporting plans to renovate and host events at a Frank Lloyd Wright-designed house in Phoenix.

Wright designed and built his the home for his son David and daughter-in-law Gladys in 1952. It faced possible demolition after Gladys Wright’s death in 2008.

Attorney Zach Rawling – a Frank Lloyd Wright aficionado — bought the Arcadia home in 2012 for $2.3 million.

Rawling’s plans to renovate the DavidWright House draws support from fans of the famed 20th century architect as well as some local preservationists.
