It’s been a two-year ordeal getting approval on a foreign trade zone at the Sunshine Industrial Park, but the possibilities of now getting major industries and companies to set up shop in Eloy makes it all worth it, officials said.
Sun Corridor Inc. out of Tucson is the administrator – or grantee – of the FTZ, but will market it to various prospective businesses and industries that would like to reap the benefits of having significantly lower inventory and property taxes, as well as duty-reduced and/or duty-free imports.
