Two major lobbying firms at the state Capitol are combining forces, with Public Policy Partners acquiring DeMenna & Associates, reports The Arizona Republic this
morning.
Kevin DeMenna has worked at the state Capitol in varying capacities for 32 years, and John Kaites, a former legislator and twice a candidate for public office founded Public Policy Partners in 2000. The Republic says Demenna will the lead on Capitol lobbying in the $4.2 million deal. The deal combines 18 employees.
DeMenna retains his firm’s name keeps his coveted office space just behind the state Capitol.
Kaites also has branched into other business interests, such as a bid to buy the Phoenix Coyotes.
