Glendale continues its growth as the city council approved four new projects during the April 26 council meeting that will add more than 1,200 new housing units within the city.
The council unanimously approved the new Stonehaven property, which is 383 acres near Camelback Road and 91st Avenue and will consist of 1,161 single-family homes with numerous amenities, such as water pads, trails and parks.
Originally, the project included two apartment complexes with more than 300 units, but after two citizen participation meetings addressed concerns over the apartments, they were removed from the project and will be only single-family homes.
