Council candidates debate council role in Casa Grande hirings

The city of Casa Grande is expected to fill key staff positions in the finance, community services and management departments in the near future.

Candidates for the Casa Grande City Council have offered varying opinions on the role council members should play in selecting and hiring for these leadership positions.

The Casa Grande Dispatch emailed all 10 candidates running this year for one of the three open council seats, asking them about the relationship between council and city staff.
