Glendale wants to designate a roughly 2-mile stretch of Glendale Avenue an entertainment hub to further revitalize its downtown.

If approved by the council in the fall, businesses such as wine bars and liquor stores could locate within the proposed district boundary and set up shop close to a church or school.
