Industrial growth cuts across Phoenix region but developments could be down 20%

The industrial real estate market — which includes manufacturing and distribution space — is seeing region-wide leasing activity, new construction and vacancy that don’t differ too much throughout sprawling Maricopa County.

That is in contrast to apartments and office space deals and developments, which have been more concentrated in places such as central Phoenix, north Tempe, Chandler and Scottsdale.

While some fundamentals for industrial space are strong locally, there are some dips in sales volumes and development activity.
