Judge denies appeal of Flagstaff student housing complex

The case against a 591-bed apartment complex known as The Hub 2.0 and scheduled to be built in Flagstaff’s Southside neighborhood will have another day in court.

Judge James Marner, a visiting judge from Pima County, denied a motion to dismiss the case Thursday.

Whitney Cunningham, an attorney representing a nearby property owner, appealed the case to Superior Court after the Flagstaff Board of Adjustment affirmed city staff approval of the project.
