Central Arizona College, Sundt Construction start new partnership

SIGNAL PEAK — Central Arizona College officials plan to launch a new partnership with Sundt Construction Inc. to propel students into a career post-graduation with knowledge from hands-on training.

The partnership with the Tempe-based general contracting company means creating five pre-employment, one-year certificates as well as one three-year academic apprenticeship program, according to a press release from CAC, which will cater to workforce needs including heavy equipment operation, structural welding, industrial construction and others.
