The Phoenician releases details on its downsized golf course

The Phoenician has released details about its plans to downsize its golf course, which is part of the high-end resort’s massive renovation plans.

There has been talk of the high-end resort minimizing its course for some time. The Phoenician will do a 10-month redesign of the course starting January 2018, downsizing from 27 to 18 holes.

Phil Smith, who has renovated the TPC Scottsdale and the Desert Mountain Apache and Chiricahua courses in Scottsdale, is the architect.
