The Trump administration announced $30 million worth of U.S. Department of Commerce grants today to help states and regions deal with the declining use of coal and closure of plants.
President Donald Trump has also been rolling back Obama administration policies aimed at boosting clean energy and reducing the use of coal as well as emissions from power plants.
The grants today include more than $624,000 going to Arizona including $99,999 for Arizona State University to help Page, Arizona transition from coal-based energy production to renewable sources.
