The city of Scottsdale is being asked to rezone a 2.6-acre parcel at 69th Street and Main Street next to Hotel Valley Ho for a new multifamily development.

New plans submitted with the city call for 121 multifamily units and 9 townhouses on the downtown property. The city is being asked to increase the number of dwelling units on the site from 53 to the proposed 130 units.

Main Street Scottsdale LLLP is asking for the zoning changes and increased housing density on the site.

There are currently older, smaller commercial buildings on the Scottsdale site.
