Co-living spaces proposed for new Mill Avenue development

By Mike Sunnucks | Rose Law Group Reporter

A developer is looking at bringing co-living spaces to a new 11-story mixed-use project to Mill Avenue in Tempe.

Core Spaces is proposed as the Hilo Tempe project.  It would have 122 residential units with 42 percent of them offering co-living spaces. That entails a resident having their own private bedroom and bathroom but then sharing living and kitchen spaces with other tenants.

The project is at 701 South Mill Avenue north of University Boulevard. The Tempe City Council is scheduled to consider the plans at its Sept. 12 and Sept. 26 meetings.
