[OPINION] The battle over Villages at Vigneto is much bigger than you think

Opinion: There’s a good reason that this and other groundwater battles across Arizona are so difficult to resolve.

The political intrigue following a massive housing development near Benson has garnered national news.

But whether the Trump administration or others are secretly pulling strings to build this project obscures the far more consequential question for Arizona:

Will the proposed Villages and Vigneto negatively impact its surroundings or not?

It’s not an easy question to answer.
