Energy drink maker to open enormous production facility in Phoenix

An energy drink company is getting closer to opening a huge manufacturing and distribution plant in Phoenix before the end of the year.

Bang Energy expected to add more than 300 jobs when the 400,000-square-foot facility near 43rd Avenue and Buckeye Road fully opens.

The first phase was planned to start production in December.

CEO Jack Owoc said in a statement Tuesday the state-of-the-art space and equipment would be able to produce beverages “at blistering speeds of 3,600 cans per minute.”
