Chandler Air Park Developer and Principal, Kevin Petersen along with principal Brian Matlock have closed on 619 acres in Eloy, Arizona initiating development of Interstate 10-8 Business Park. The new speculative Class A industrial project will have the flexibility to include multiple buildings ranging from general and light industrial project to retail and freeway frontage commercial along the Interstate 10 corridor just south of the intersection with interstate 8. The site also brings big business and tech related development opportunities along the Union Pacific Railroad.

Interstate 10-8 Business Park is located between Sunland Gin Road and Toltec Road, with nearly a mile of freeway exposure along the Interstate 10. The site is bounded by Interstate 10 to the south and the Union Pacific Railroad to the north. Opportunities are available in one of the last true “rail” served sites with easy freeway access between Phoenix and Tucson.

“We’ve designed Interstate 10-8 Business Park with the flexibility to serve a wide variety of users and business types and to position Eloy as a premier industrial and business park destination with the ability to support major manufactures and employers looking for sites that can accommodate over 1 million square feet of space with the benefit of being served by private rail spurs,“ said Petersen. “This park will be able to meet the development requirements that we’ve seen from today’s high-tech industrial tenants, including those in the rapidly-growing e-commerce and electric vehicle market.”

With flexible design standards and development friendly staff the project should attract top tier corporations looking for the ideal manufacturing and distribution location in the southwest. Corporate neighbors to Interstate 10-8 Business Park include Lucid Motors, Nikola, and Tumtumcar to mention a few.

Principal Planner, Michael Buschbacher of Hunter Engineering along with Rose Law Group represented the land buyer to obtain City Council approval and entitlements for the project. Hunter Engineering will also serve as the project civil engineer.

Interstate 10-8 Business Park will initially break ground on the park’s entrance in the coming months and will be shovel ready for new developments very soon. Opportunities are available for a real estate brokerage firm to represent the project going forward and possibly a Joint Venture partner for the development.

To discuss future development, representation and leasing opportunities within the Park, please call Petersen Properties Management’s  Kevin Petersen or Brian Matlock at (602) 540-8151.
