How COVID is impacting the housing market in metro Phoenix

Metro Phoenix’s housing market took a hit from COVID-19 in April and early May but is showing signs of climbing back to a record pace for sales.

Home sales and prices dropped as many buyers stayed home during the first six to eight weeks of the pandemic.

But in late May, pending sales started to climb again, and the forecast is for home prices to rise in June.
