Marijuana dispensary proposed for upscale Phoenix area

A major medical marijuana company wants to bring a 5,000-square-foot medical marijuana dispensary to the upscale corner of Tatum and Shea boulevards in Phoenix.

Harvest Health and Recreation, the company with the most dispensaries in Arizona, submitted a rezoning application to Phoenix in July. 

The company hopes to convert vacant suites in a commercial building on the northwest corner of Tatum and Shea boulevards into a dispensary. Existing businesses in the building include PV Pie and Wine, Zoyo Neighborhood Yogurt and Eat Organic Eatery.
