Gila River Hotels & Casinos has broken ground and started construction on a $143 million expansion project at its Wild Horse Pass property in Chandler.
The tribal gaming and hospitality enterprise is constructing a new 11-story hotel tower, as well as expanding the property’s conference space and updating and refreshing the casino floor and other parts of the hotel.
The new 150-foot tower will feature 205 guestrooms, bringing the property’s total rooms to 447. The new tower will be home to 37 different suites, including two presidential suites that include balconies with views of the Estrella Mountains.
