Queen Creek: Was the ‘Experience’ worth it?

Finishing out its pilot year, the Town of Queen Creek’s tourism marketing efforts, collectively dubbed Experience Queen Creek, came under review during the Town Council’s regularly schedule Sept. 19, 2012 meeting when the council discussed whether to continue a marketing partnership agreement that falls under the purview of the campaign.

The marketing agreement allows the Town to offer advertising space to a number of local businesses in return for advertising space at the businesses. The agreement under discussion in involved Schnepf Farms, The Queen Creek Olive Mill and the Barney Family Sports Complex. Marnie Shubert, Chief Marketing Officer for the Town discussed the agreement’s success so far as well as the success of Experience Queen Creek as a whole.
