Presidential Cabinets tend to molt in a second term, prompting a question in Arizona and Washington D.C.: Will Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano remain at Obama’s table or move on to another high position in the federal government?
Politico today discussed some possibilities for changes in the president’s Cabinet, putting forth several scenarios for former Arizona’s attorney general and governor.
Politico says Napolitano is interested in the attorney general’s job, “but she’s also interested in John McCain’s Senate seat in 2016 — and the White House is interested in her as a possible Supreme Court nominee.”
