Mohave County Board of Supervisors unanimously voted to appoint Mike Hendrix as the new county administrator.
Hendrix, who has been acting as county administrator since January, said he is thrilled.
“I am so honored, it’s humbling,” Hendrix said Monday after the meeting. “It’s an incredible day.”
The Board convened for an interview with Hendrix for 30 minutes in a closed session Monday during a special meeting in Kingman.
After completing the meeting, the Board reconvened for another 15 minutes to interview candidate Mark Clark, who also was vying for the job.
