KB Home Seeks Rezoning and Pre-Plat for 135 units on 23.53 AC in Chandler

Fire Rock RanchKB Home is going to the Chandler Planning & Zoning Commission tonight for approval of a rezoning and preliminary plat on 23.53 acres at the northwest corner of Chandler Boulevard and Gilbert Road.  The project, being called Fire Rock Ranch, which was originally part of the 230 acre Dobson Place as multifamily and commercial, was rezoned in 1995 to be all commercial, then again in 2008 for office, retail, and multifamily.

Fire Rock Ranch is planned to have a combination of 89 auto court lots and 46 traditional single family lots (28 lots at 52’x120’ and 18 lots at 55’x120’).
